Stacey is a transformative educational leader with a strong commitment to creating responsive and practical solutions that shift traditional and ineffective ways of working. Stacey is passionate about addressing past harms and systemic inequity, fostering collective ownership of change, and empowering communities to thrive.
Stacey plays a key role in our education projects across Australia and Bermuda and the Caribbean. She works alongside system leaders to create evidence-informed and contextually-responsive strategies that empower educators and communities and foster system-wide improvement.
Stacey has a deep passion for developing new approaches that activate agency in young people, strengthen the practice of educators and engage the broader community to drive collective growth. She has extensive experience in building strong partnerships, including with not-for-profits, universities and government agencies. Stacey is widely recognised for her ability to generate and leverage evaluative insights that are responsive to context and inform ongoing improvement at scale.
With 30 years in school leadership and senior public sector roles, Stacey has a proven track record of leading successful change. She has demonstrated experience in transformation at a school level, as well as creating and implementing strategic initiatives that strengthen leadership and teaching practice to close equity gaps and improve student learning outcomes at scale.
Stacey has been awarded an Australian Schools Plus Teaching Award, an ACER Excellence in Professional Practice Award and an AITSL Australian Award for Excellence in Teacher Leadership. She holds a Master of Education, Master of Literature, Diploma in Education, and Bachelor of Arts.
