Tallulah Chong
Project Officer
Facilitating sustainable community development is at the heart of Tallulah’s work. She is passionate about co-designing innovative and systemic initiatives to address wicked problems. She utilises her experience and drive working in youth, mental health, and nonprofit spaces to advocate for holistic and human-centred solutions.
As a Project Officer, Tallulah engages with a wide range of ThirdStory projects. Since September 2024, she has worked on MercyCare’s ‘Coolock Young Parents Program’, which supports young parents at risk or experiencing homelessness. The project involved interviews and workshops to gather insights and codify the program into a clear service model. Tallulah also worked on Richmond Wellbeing’s ‘Enliven Project’ to develop a Journey Map for understanding young peoples’ experience through Richmond Wellbeing’s services.
Tallulah holds a Bachelor of Communications and Media and a Master of Community Development. Prior to ThirdStory, she worked with various non-profits supporting youth and people experiencing mental health challenges. These roles have built on her capacity to facilitate groups in understanding challenges and co-designing initiatives to address them effectively. Active participation and individual wellbeing are at the core of her interpersonal practice.
Outside of ThirdStory, Tallulah has a creative background in screen production where she freelances in photography and film. She is also heavily involved in Perth’s circular textile industry by running a social enterprise for a zero-waste product. Her diverse skills and experience have built on her dedication to innovating with others for the wellbeing of people and the planet.
