Senior Project Lead
Claire leads co-design and evaluation projects across a broad portfolio in WA, including early years, family and domestic violence, and homelessness. She works closely with diverse stakeholders, ensuring the voice of lived experience is central to all projects.
Claire is a connector who thrives when working with people bringing wide-ranging and experiences. Her work at ThirdStory includes co-designing the first Therapeutic Family & Domestic Violence Refuge in Western Australia in partnership with the State Government of WA. She has conducted evaluations in complex contexts, including emerging new practices in social support. Across multiple projects, Claire has worked with parents, practitioners and researchers to explore perinatal, child and infant mental health in the WA context.
Starting in 2025, Claire is co-facilitator of the Social Design Academy (SoDA) Australia, supporting organisations, leaders, and practitioners, to deliver real world innovation projects and grow their design capability for social impact and systems change.
A lifelong learner, Claire brings to her work skills and knowledge in social innovation and systems change built through a broad range of formal and informal learning experiences, including a Master of Business Administration (Social Impact), and professional development in evaluation, governance and for-purpose leadership.
Before joining ThirdStory, Claire’s experience included facilitating cross-sector collaboration through the WA Alliance to End Homelessness and the Centre for Social Impact UWA. Passionate about nurturing the next generation of change makers, Claire was also employed in academic and managerial roles at the UWA McCusker Centre for Citizenship which included designing the multi-disciplinary project-based unit ‘Approaches to Wicked Problems’.
